For millennia, human movement—driven by exploration, conquest, and the pursuit of power—has profoundly shaped civilizations. This project developed an interactive digital map of notable ancient Greek texts, making them accessible to diverse audiences regardless of prior expertise. Tracing connections from Civil War battlefields in Virginia to the rivers of western Georgia flowing into the Black Sea, and to the far-reaching and extensive borders of Greek influence and prominence, illuminate a shared human experience across cultural and geographical boundaries. By integrating digital humanities tools, this project redefines engagement, learning, and the effective sharing of knowledge, fostering deeper understanding through innovative and user-focused design.
